Growing And Learning: The Endless Pursuit of Perfection

Last month was a busy one for TKO. We are pleased to report that we had a few major wins when it comes to developing new products. We also were able to learn a few things about ourselves and the way we do business in order to provide even better services to our customers.

First, here are a few of our major “wins:”

1. We completed a prototype of a large boat clamp. We have completed the engineering phase and now the prototype is going through testing. As soon as it’s ready to roll, we’ll feature it in our Facebook Page.
2. We have purchased an Arctic Cat side-by-side so that we could demo our full line of roll bar clamps.
3. We attended The Boise Roadster and Chrome in the Dome car shows and were able to get a bunch of people really excited about our product line up.

What we’ve learned along the way:

1. One of the reasons why we purchased the above-mentioned side-by-side is that we learned that in order to know our customers better, we had to “be in the game.” It’s very difficult to sell accessories to customers if you can’t display them correctly. We have to be able to display our products on this side-by-side to demonstrate how they hold up under actual ride conditions.
2. We are learning that building a reliable supply chain is not easy, nor can it be done quickly. However, with each passing month, we learn and grow and slowly our supply chain is coming together.

New Products In The Works

We have added a few new products and are in the middle of testing and improving some existing products. We added a large clamp made for the marine/boat industry. We are in the middle of a small redesign of our roll bar clamps (we think we have come up with a small design change that will improve the clamp by lessening the amount of “side to side rock” of the mount/anchor clamp).
